When James Cameron introduced his idea said:

" My story is very simply. A ship, a crash and a big love story, like Romeo and Juliet". And who can play the main character? But Romeo, of course!

Romeo alias Leonardo Di Caprio!

The actors couldn't go to the toilette during the shootings and for this reason a lot of people "pissed" in the swimming pool.

Jack Dawson was a real person or fantasy?

He is a fantasy. But in the ship there was a passenger called J. Dawson, he worked in a ship. Now he rests in peace to Halifax, New Scotland. Cameron discovered this when the shootings were finished.

The song that Jack sings in the Rose's ear was a great success of the Titanic's time.

"Come Josephine in my flying machine going up she goes, up she goes"

Cameron did the drawing of Rose. In fact the hand shot in the movie were the director's hands (Leo nibbled his nails, maybe he is a nervous guy)

Leo-Jack explains to Rose his life in Wisconsin and he remembered when he and his father used to do ice fishing in Wissota Lake. But this artificial lake was created in 1917 (5 years after the Titanic's wreck)

Do you remember when Jack says: "Over…on the bed…er…the couch. Lie down"?

The script said, "Lay on the couch", but Leonardo really made this mistake. Cameron kept it because it seemed more natural.

Where's the tattoo of Kate Winslet?

In the scene of suicide Rose had in her left arm a little tattoo; but it will disappear for the rest of movie.

A lot of Titanic's sequences had been done in a empty theatre. (For example: Jack and Fabrizio didn't see the sea or the dolphins. They only saw the green wall of the theatre).

Jack: Where to, miss?

Rose: To the stars.

The Rose's cabin was free. Mr.J.P. Morgan, an American multi-millionaire, booked it. For the business problems he gave up to the voyage. This is really lucky for Morgan!!!

Hartley and the orchestra play "Nearer my God to thee".

Silvia, an Italian teenager girl (12) had seen Titanic 71 times. Congratulations Silvia!

But this is normal. A lot of teenager girls had seen the movie several time (5 or 10 times).

James Cameron shot a lot of scene in person with his camera and he performed in a movie in the sequence of the party in third class.

James Cameron cut a dozen scene, but he'll add this sequences in a new complete version of the movie. The Titanic will last 4 hours (not 3:14 like now).

In this version Cameron will add:

The love affair between Fabrizio and Helga a Scandinavian girl (we'll see in the sequences of the party in the third class).

Molly Brown who try to come back to the ship.

A little troupe shoots passengers.
